I don't know yet if I can go - work schedule, etc.
The drive would only be 8 hours... and that's just fucking wrong.
love it or shove it.

Joe, feel free to crash at my place if you decide to sleep over/stop by in Chi-Town.
I can't take time off work to make the drive but I might fly in.
Appreciate the offer mang!

Oh yea, if anybody drives through Phoenix, I may be able to house some peeps. Plenty of room for cars, too. Even if I'm not going, etc.
love it or shove it.

Everytime I've driven to the west coast it ranges 34-36hrs. I'm a bit older now so the "straight through" type of trip will most likely not be the way. Maybe a power nap in TX
Yack..you can stop on by here in PHX. My h/b could use a good tuning, and I have room at my house, not to mention a 3-car garage and I'm sure I can find some more secure locations to store a car overnight.

It is about 9 hours longer than VIR, but that is not the reason. I will not be able to take anytime off from work until June. Sucks being a company man, but who knows.... I have been a little disgruntle lately.

I am not sure I'd like to go thru CO in May. It'd suck getting stuck in the mountains.

That was probably going to be the plan anyway, but I may also be moving that weekend. We'll see, but looking like almost no chance.

I cant help with the disgruntle but having lived in CO for 10 years, I can tell you driving in May while not be a problem. That mountain snow is sooo diff than that nasty, sticky MW snow is. I used to do it in a 90 Accord. No probs.
