I just test drove a new s2k and the bumbs don't go right to your spine. The cornering ability is the same too, if not better because of no understeer. still love the r better.

I rode in an S2000 at the track a week after running my R, and it was quieter with the top down than my bone stock R! Guess the S2000 is a luxury car.

For me, S2000 has a rougher ride... ITR isn't too far off! Responsiveness S2000 is still better, but ITR feel a bit more natual, so give and take the end is what car suit you better!

To me the TypeR feels stiffer and way more under control in turns then the s2K does....

I don't know what S2000's you guys were testing. I found that car to be a much better handler, smoother VTEC engagement and the ride more supple.

I hated the brakes, though. I still haven't driven or owned a car with better braking feel and response than the ITR :)

Were the S2000 brakes weaker than the ITR?

Not so much weaker as that it takes more pedal effort to stop the S2000. The brakes are still excellent on the Stook but there's so much more car to stop than the ITR.
