Advice on setup

Post by Kangbateh »

i'm planning on building my car for some major horsepower (500HP), and I have some of these items and plan on getting some others tips would be greatly appreciated as well as advice on possibly what I forgot. But here it goes, currently modified on my ITR. Buddy Club racing spec 3 exhaust, Spoon plug wires, AEM adjustable fuel regulator, RevHard stage 2 turbocharger (T3To4B)kit (which includes wastegate, Vortech FMU, Vortech blowoff valve) and Mugen ECU chip. I have Jun cams, Eagle Rods, JE 9:0:1 compression pistons waiting to be installed. I plan on getting 720cc injectors, swapping my Mugen ECU chip for Hondata ECU, thicker gasket, Darton sleeves, Total seal rings, Clutchmasters clutch, Ferria valves, MSD digital 6. That's all I can think of right now. Any suggestions, tips, advice?

you need cams that aren't all motor cams.....you will also need a bigger turbo to make 500whp....go precision or a t3/60-1 set up......and you will need bigger injectors.... go for 1000cc or so

hondata is the way to go....powerFC is nice but hondata has so many more tuners and is easier to tune once you learn your way around it. I would go golden eagle on the block cause they use iron sleeves but retain the water jacket to help with cooling.

I just don't like hondata on high hp boosted cars. I think they work great on low power cars but for 350 and up the apexi fc is the better choice but do what you wish just speeking from what I know and worked with
good luck
hit me up if ever in cali and I will show you are cars
