Hey,
I need opinions concerning which brand and model offers the best quality product for the investment. Let's make this an informal product review; evaluate the pros and cons, rate it, compare it to other set ups. Thank you.

i think it dosent matter on the brand. they all do the same shii. the diffrence is on the installation. i used to work at a stero shop installing alarms. you can have the top of the line alarm installed by a 2 year old and some guyu is going to steal your car. or have a piece of shii alarm that was installed by a real pro and a theif wouldn't know how to bypass the alarm. for instance on m/t cars i dont put a starter kill. i put a kill some where else so that you cant start it.! i.e focc just push start the dyamn car. but if you cut the power to other stuff you cant do crap.! just my 2 cents!!

My friend has one from MATRIX (Clifford's Low end name) and She Likes it.
I was surprised that the pager was quiet small from what i had expected. It is pretty nice with the two way feedback. Like someone said they are all about the same, BUT some have longer ranges than others as I understand it.
But Honestly, if you are in the Mall and the beep goes off are you going to run out to look at your car every time? i mean I like the fact that you can see if it is the Shock sensor or the Starter or hood Pop etc etc.
I think it gives a flase sense of security. My Friend's Car was towed one night cause she didn't have her Parking Permit. Normally she parks right outside her window, but this time she had to par out of direct sight from her Condo. Well it was 3 am... Do you think she got dressed and went to look? NOPE so what is the purpose to have it? I think after the novelty of the thing wears off then it is just used like anyother ONE WAY system.
My recommendation is the Clifford Advant Guard 5 system. Nothing is fool proof but this one is pretty darn close IMO
