Integra Type-R Discussion - Discuss general ITR information, technical information (including requests for technical/mechanical help/assistance), modifications, tuning, etc.
My daily driven, stock itr has 3 good T1-S's with 1 that's got a puncture in the sidewall. I also have 4 brand new FZ-4's collecting dust, only thing is they're 195 vs. 205, which's what i'm running right now...My question is, What do you think about putting 2 of the 195/50/15 FZ4's on with 2 of the 205/50/15 T1-S......Don't really have money to play with right now
it will be fine but what you need to do is put 2 match tires in the front and 2 matching tires in the rear. The FZ4 is a really shitty tire. I woudl suggest you put them in the front to prevent oversteer and wrecking.
My personal favortie for the street for cost vs performance is the Yokohama ES100. The Falken Azenis is cheap but a poor rain performer. You also have the Kumho MX which is a great tire. Honestly I would probably pick these over the T1-S anyway for performance.
I have no experience with it personally, but have heard that having 2 different diameter (sized) tires on the f/r axles can cause problems with the ABS system.
For the $, if you want to stay in stock size, Im not sure you can beat the YokoES100s. Of course they are a good choice in 205/50s and I am very happy with my Kumho MX in 205/50.
