My car dyno'd (stock+CAI+WS Exhaust): 184whp / 126 tq

My friends H22A VX Hatchback dyno'd (stock+CAI+exhaust): 171whp / 143 tq.

At the track (drag) he runs on average 13.6-7's on street tires compared to my 13.8-9's. Obviously he's in a lighty chasis... Overall including his 65 shot nitrous, he runs 6 tenths faster than me on slicks... 12.9 compared to my 13.5. Honestly, with equal drivers, I think the C5 would be faster than the H22... The short gears really make up for the 15 extra torque the prelude motor has IMO.

WTF is the point in dropping a H22 in? is the b18c5 not good enough?!

NO i love my b18c5.... i was just wondering how the two motors compare to eachother.... but i got to admit the turbo kits they make for the h22 are pretty good.... if i was to drop another motor into my car it would be a jdm ITR motor...... I especially love how the vtec kicks in and sounds on the ITR... holla at yo boy

just remember that the h22 is a heavier motor than the b18c5. Thus, the weight overall along with the weight distribution would be affected and decrease your handling abilities. The R was meant to take corners, not to drag race...jm2c

But if you only care about going in a straight line; its your car do what you will

also you gotta factor in the size of the motor as well... preludes are much bigger cars than the integra...
