Azenis or AVS ES100?

Post by TegR#0989 »

In your guys opinions which one will perform well? I have heard that the ES100 have some soft side walls and the rubber compound is harder than the Azenis. What do you guys think?

I would just go with the Falkens... For the price, you cant go wrong... Once I buy my boys Stern's, I plan on slapping a set on.

if performance is the only issue Azenis hands down. If you ned an all around tire that will last more than 12k miels and that will handle standing water ES100's hands down

So the Falkens will only last me about 12k's? How long will the ES100 last?

you might get 15k-18k but don't plan on that. And the ES100 life is undetermined since they are so new. I would say 20k-25k at a guess.

Oh yeah, should have added what Trey said. It depends on what you are using the tires for. Im debating between some ES100's or kuhmo 711's for street tires. And my Falken's for my track tires.

I think I would get the ES100's for the street. 712's just don't cut it.

I just purchased the Azenis tires (205/55/15) for my 2001 GSR and have been very pleased with their performance. My car has Tokico HPs, Skunk coilovers and a Comptech Sway/Tie combo. The tires have reduced a lot of understeer and is a lot closer to neutral.

It rained here recently and I didn't notice any adverse effects (though I kept the driving style conservative).
