Looking for an itr...

Post by Escobar. »

Hi everyone, this is the first time i'm posting here on itrca. A few years ago, i was a proud owner of 2000 py itr, until i just couldn't handle the insurance premiums anymore(i was a student back then). So i was forced to sell it

The good news is that im now graduating and looking for an itr once again. I know i should post this in the cars for sale section, but im from montreal, and i would like to buy the car from canada.

This is what i'm looking for:
2001 CW on red itr.
Stock or with simple bolt-ons.
No accidents, no repaints, no replaced panels, no thefts.
And fairly low mileage.

I know this is going to be difficult to find, but if any of you are thinking of selling, or would like to hear what i would offer, let me know, i'm serious.

Thanks
Dan, fellow montrealer.

Thanks Dupes,

I already went to check out the car in person. Looks very clean. But i did a history check at the saaq, and the km's recorded last year in april were at 48100km!!! He's advertising the car with 36000km :? Not sure if SAAQ made a mistake or not, but is sounds a little too fishy for me.

Thanks though, quick response :o

Any other tips please???!!!

Let me know what you got, even if you haven't considered selling "her", just to see if my price seems good enough for you.

If only I saw for topic before. I crossed an ITR CW for sale on my way back from TRAC Racing school. We gave each other the finger; that is, the thumbs up. He had a FOR SALE sign on it. It looked pretty clean since he was driving it around. Anyhow, if I cross him again, I'll try to pull him over to get some more info.

No wonder the nickname sounded familiar. Thanks for the rims, they were great for the winter.

You'll have to pass-by at TRAC for the ITR meet.

Love ITRs!

2001 ITR

Post by Jeff2001R »

You can take a look at my pics...
http://photobucket.com/albums/v401/Jeff2001R/

Its a 2001 with all red seats. The #1343. Around 60000km. Never been winter driven and we did a check up at Acura Optima and they found absolutely nothing, its all perfect... The only thing is, there's a light bump on the passenger side fender, its suppose to cost about 80$ at M. Magik.

We dont even want to sell it, but we definitely need a more practical car.

Make your offer.

Hey guys, STILL looking for the right itr: 2001 CW on red, low mileage, mint exterior and interior. I just drove to toronto to check one out: 15000km ONLY!!! Left a deposit, called up a professional classic car appraiser, and found out hood, bumber, and left front fender were repainted. I was disapointed, took back my deposit and drove back home!!!

SO... if anybody knows of one very minty for sale, let me know! I am willing to travel and pay.

Thank you.

It's tough looking for something with low mileage!

Those ITR will show up in a couple of years from people who just stored it and drove very little with it.

Good luck, man!
