i am currently looking for fr and rear sway bar for my R, without spending a lot of money to get name brand parts.
i am looking for the boggest/most efficient fr and rear sway bar
so far.
mugen 26mm front, but a bit pricey
Suspension tecnique 25mm front, cost half as less as mugen
jdm rear 23mm, not really worth it
alex motorsports 25mm rear, pretty good, except it cost almost as much as the mugen
so my question is, is there any other brand that is stiffer than the ones i mention,
i prefer solid bar. but if hollow have bigger/stiffer ones,
i dont really mind.
btw i dont care about the brand
Sway bar help

Yeah...OK if you say so.yeungkaho wrote:jdm rear 23mm, not really worth it
Have you been in a caR with that?
I put one in on the way to Expo 5 (Thanks Josh and Jon) and could not belive the results. That bar with R-comps made the caR feel alive. But then I relized... I was on stock suspension and it needed to be replaced. So I now have a Buddy Club suspension on the way with some stiff spring rates.
And now to grill you. Why do you want such a thick/stiff sway bar setup? Maybe you should think about upgrading your Suspension first.

i have a set of zeal coil overs,
but i will be replacing it sometime this year with koni 3012 or 8212 series
i go autoXing, and i race in SM. I have built engine, with V710 tires.
but i get too much roll and understeer, and i want to get bigger sway bar first, then use alignment to fine tune the car
BTW, what kinf of R-comps are you running?
and its really easy to feel the diff in stiffness at an autoX event.
just wondering, have you tried autoxing with that bar, how does it feel?

I tried an Auto X once and ran over half the cones... Just not for me. Road courses are my bag.
I hope that some of the more knowledegable Auto Xers stop in and give some advice. I lack any usefull information in this dept.
As for my tires, RA1 205/50-15 on 15X7 rims.
In your first post you did not mention anything about Auto X or RR so I assumed that you just wanted to make your car stiff for no reasons/ bling reasons.
I'll see if I can get some people with Auto X background to toss in an Idea.
