Hey guys, I was surfing the web last night trying to find a deal on a clutch, and I just hapened to find on ebay, a company selling Exedy clutches for the OE version like $170 and for the full face race version like $230, that's with the pressure plate, throwout bearing, allignment tool, and pilot bearing. I looked else where, and they were a heck of a lot more expensive.
Does any one have a full face exedy race clutch??? Whats the pedal pressure like compared to stock????

Exedy Clutches
Well, I ordered one today, so if in a week I get it and it turns out to be fake, I'll post it, but the company it comes from is here in FL not that far from me, and from my understanding is pretty reputable.
In addition, I also found out, that Exedy is the manufacturer that makes the clutched for Spoon, Mugen, and Toda, and a couple others but don't remember who. Compare pictures for your self....
Exedy:

Toda:

Mugen:

Spoon:

Once you've compared pictures, and realized they are all the same, look at the amazing price difference:
Exedy: $230
Toda: $970
Spoon: $436
Mugen: $599
Though the list price on the Exedy clutch for out car, I think is over $400, it just goes to show how much some of the big japanese companies get just for the name.
If you guys want the web site for the clutch, it should be at:

I think it's only for another day or so, but they put up the same auction again and again untill they have all their stock sold, so I don't think you'll need to rush that much, also, it's a buy it now item, so you don't need to deal with getting out bid or anything like that, you can just bid on it, and pay for it at the same time, and they send it to you i guess as soon as they get payment.

you need to adjust the "throw" of the clutch so it wont cause the grinding i had to do the same after the install of my exedy. i think the cause is exedy's bearing is slightly different from OEM (from the side-to-side comparison i did0.Aj wrote:That's actually where I ordered it from. What exactly did you do as far as adjustment???? I just assumed it would be plug and play so to speak. After installing the clutch and pressure plate, what did you do????
