Having a Horrible day

My turtle fell one story and broke his shell, I flew to the Vet and will not know anything til 3:00 pm today the earliest.

He got out of the pool I have set up for them and crawled off the patio (one story high). I almost had a heart attack. I was inches from saving him, but could not reach in time. He had blood pouring out from the huge crack and was very badly hurt.

I think I broke almost every law on the way to the Vet.

There was no time for pics, I placed him in a box, covered in towels and drove like the sick bastard I am.

I feel so bad...
