54 in 40, not even intentional which is the worst part. I coulda been nailed many times for intentional speeding.

Fine is up to $300, and there is another $300 "assesment" if I get the full 4 pts for this violation. Not to mention insurance hit prolly.
It was a pitch black country road around midnight. There was a tiny 40mph zone in the middle of 10 miles of 55mph. There were like 5 buildings clustered together and they call it a "hamlet" and it was a 40mph for like a tenth of a mile. Speed trap anyone??

Yeah, and there was no warning, like "Speed zone ahead" or anything. And these damn Integra headlights coupled with me being exhausted, I didn't notice the little 40mph signs.
