When I was looking at getting the AC control unit for the hatch, first thing I thought of was him. He said he couldn't do it. Dunno if he was being lazy, or really can't in his system. I dunno. I thought the same as you guys, it's still a honda part number. They may not have them in stock, but I was almost certain they could get them.walker111 wrote:Thats wierd. My honda dealership can get ANY Aucra part or acces...Dave_B wrote:No, Len can't get them. He only get's Honda parts for Acura's. Not Honda parts for say the S, civic and such.walker111 wrote:Was 3k, Len's price?Dave_B wrote:Interesting. Now you got me curious how much you can get one for new.walker111 wrote:That will be included with it. I'm waiting on grand total right now....Dave_B wrote:What about hardware? Price?
The OT place for OGs to BS w/o BS.
I'd have to check the rates, but I would presume it's going to be about the same in price. And your right, BIG chance of damage. I'd have to freight that one on either DHL or FedSux.Chris N wrote:why not ship? too big/chance of damage?Dave_B wrote:Yes but I also have to factor in going to get it. So gas/hotel stay for a day and return. I figure probably around 300ish for that.walker111 wrote:I still think WarWagon's would be cheaper. You obviously have the hook-up on paint..

Its not practical in the least, but thats not the point of the car. For what it is, a driver's car, it really is that great. For nothing other than pure all out driving it is phenominal.walker111 wrote:

I'd go with Mothers for at least your wax. Longer lasting protection and a much better shine. IMOwalker111 wrote:<going to detail the R this weekend like its never been detailed. Bought some meguiar products.. Going to see if I can bring back some shine.
If I cant, I'm making plans to send it to the shop for the duration of the winter....

What you may have to do is have body shop buff it out. Mine was needing this and all the hand polishing in the world wouldn't take out the oxidation.walker111 wrote:<going to detail the R this weekend like its never been detailed. I guess thats what kills it for me. Not saying that the R is better, performance wise. But I can drive my car from here to FL, and be comfy doing it. My friend (Dave's size) drove his S from here to FL and hated it! And I had to carry his suit caseErik95LS wrote:Its not practical in the least, but thats not the point of the car. Performance wise I think its a good car. IMO, refuse to have a car I cant drive anywhere, in any condition...

Exactly. It just depends on what you want. Like all good driver's cars its not for everyone.walker111 wrote:I guess thats what kills it for me. Not saying that the R is better, performance wise.
