thanks guys

interview went well i feel, the guys that interviewed me were impressed with my current level of knowledge and experience, which meant that i can go into the organisation at a higher level than the job was originally meant for

also a better salary etc.

i shall have an answer inside the week, i'm feeling positive

i'll be working as a non-destructive testing civil engineering consultant

so i'll go out to roads, runways, railways, buildings, fields etc. and do testing on them to determine strength, underlying ground strength, reinforcement positioning, voids, loads of stuff

i left the interview yesterday at 1:30pm and today i check my work inbox and at 4:30pm they had sent me an e-mail offering me the job

So...... the D21 is in the shop, so I'm taking the Silvia to work today. Yesterday was the first time we drove him in a year.

Surprisingly, he's not as 'broken sounding' as I remember. He actually sounds better than the trucks do. And drives better, handles better, stops better.....

Funny.
