Question for those with a Skunk 2 Manifold

Post by ITR010342 »

I am in the process of installing my Skunk 2 Pro Series Intake Manifold on my R. I have it together except there is a vacuum line for the EVAP valve (that is on the firewall) that has no matching connection point on the manifold. There is also a small vacuum tap on the opposite end of the manifold that is not being used. Do I tie in there or do I do something else? Any help is appreciated! :D

Question...

Any reson to get the Skunk 2 manifold? Where you missing your original ITR one? Skunk 2 made those for GS-R's looking for an ITR like manifold. Just wondering if you got one thinking of a performance mod, or just replacing what was there, or what.

Not bashing at all, but IMO if it was a "performance" upgrade, I think you'll be disapointed.

Just a replacement. Mine needed replacing, so I got one of these. I solved my problem anyway, so thank you. :)

Why would your manifold need replacing? Was it cracked or something?
