intake, dc header (what it came with when i bought the car), test pipe, hondata img, s300 street tuned
1/4
i've done 14.65 with my itr, I've done only 5 run and that was my best.
60 foots sucks, 2.304, 97.6 mph
I had a 4-1 jdm oem header with a test pipe, spoon air filter (only the yellow sponge!)
It was my first time at the drag, I really think it can runs low 14 with that setup...

14.'s for a Type-R sounds REALLY slow to me. I thought they where much faster!

For a stock car, putting down around 165 WHP from the factory and weighing in at around 2600 LB's isn't bad at all.HB_BiggyBear wrote:14.'s for a Type-R sounds REALLY slow to me. I thought they where much faster!
As mentioned in your other thread... ITR's are not, never were and aren't the best drag race cars. Honda's Forumula One team was involved with the R&D... it's setup out of the box for road racing.

Re: How fast is a stock ITR?
13.8 at 101mph with just some simple upgrades and also dumped a lot of weight.
8lb flywheel and ACT 5puck clutch
Eagle H-beams (weighted w/crank n flywheel)
toda cams
toda itb's
generic 4-1 header w/ 3" custom straight pipe w/DC muffler (no cat or resonator)
bought a JRSC kit and with my setup i have planned, hopefully ill be close to 300whp and running 12's

Re: How fast is a stock ITR?
how about the one's with stock bottom end and a built head...Will that work and has anyone done before.
Re: How fast is a stock ITR?
I did 13.97 @ 99.22 mph in a 01 CW ITR.
Mods were, removed intake resonator (wheel well big white box), advance timming (18 degrees BTDC), removed PS belt, spare tire, jack, rear panel.
It was back up by a 13.98 @ 99 mph 1 hour later !
I Dynoed at 171 WHP and 119 WTQ with the exact same setup.
Tires were DOT Toyos, 205/50-15 with 15 psi.
(I weigh 190 lbs)
