someone correct me if i'm wrong.....i heard it was 1,500 per year. so 3,000 total for 2000 and 2001.

nothing is confirmed.
and I have seen numbers slightly over 1500 nin 00/01 (Like 1525)
the most official thing we have is a memo that says 300 something 97's and 1023 98's

i've seen as high as 1569 for MY00. and there is no way the distribution between PY and FBP is even. i have a registry DB with a few hundred of the MY00 cars in it and just in that subset the yellows outnumber the blacks about 2 to 1

Blacks are definately more rare.

Lance you have to recall the 2001 Expo though. THere were 41+ cars and the numbers were almost exactly even for color. I think Black blends in better and was purchased by a little different demographic.

yellow is definatly more noticable than the black. all in all i dont think they would make more of one color than the other.
