JRSC

Post by ITR916 »

What kind of power can i expect from the high boost kit from JR? engine is stock. And can my engine handle 11 psi with the hondata they include?? thanx for the help.... :? Image
Jackson Racing and Hondata have put together a high boost supercharger system. The System includes a Jackson Racing Supercharger system with 3 different boost pulleys. Fuel management is handled by a Hondata s300 reprogrammed ECU able to handle up to 12psi of boost and includes RC 440cc injectors. The instant power of the Jackson Racing Supercharger coupled with the perfect fuel tuning of the Hondata ECU makes this an unbeatable package for maximum daily driven power. 6, 8 and 11 psi pulleys supplied.

I know they redid their website, so you probably won't find all the old information. I would try and find someone selling them (an authorized dealer). Most likely, their item description will be pulled directly from Jackson Racing, and will most likely include a dyno chart.

good luck

p.s. I have the JRSC and love it, with the s300, CAI, stock header, stock cat, apexi ws2 exhaust, it made 220 hp on a dynojet with a 7.5 psi pulley from Motorvations

id say around 230-240whp on a stock R at 11psi. the motor should be fine with a tune. i've bee runnin at 11 psi for two years on hondata with no problem. was tuned at motorvations, highly recommend jim.

Jim tuned mine also. 10psi got me 258.3 whp.

Do you guys recommend the s200 or the s300 for the JRSC at 7lbs? I'm running a swapped 96 JDM motor with 11:1.

It doesn't matter which Hondata system you use. The S200 is pretty much obsolete now that the S300 is available. The S300 is a lot easier to deal with, since you have no chips to burn and it does include all the possible options including datalogging.

i have an 01 with I/H/E 5.5lbs 440cc injectors tuned with a neptune and pulled 206.8, and im bumping to 11lbs this summer cant wait for the difference. im alittle worried about heat soak and considering an LHT air to liquid intercooler for another 30 wheel

i made 220 hp with 7.5 psi. stock header. i would expect a bit more power from your setup.

if your set up is like mine despite the header i would think you would have what you do just from the extra two lbs.

Does anyone know of any other companies or set ups to cool a jrsc. the one from LHT is really nice but 1350 is kinda steep. Anyone messing with those JR hi pressure water sprayers, how well do those work?

I ditched the JRSC. I was not very pleased with it.
It had a horrible fit on my motor and kept going through belts like there was no tomorrow.
