My OEM alarm/keyless entry doesnt work anymore?

I just got my car back from the body shop aftr having the bumper resprayed and my keyless entry doesnt work and my alarm doesnt arm either. They said the battery was disconnected for a while but ive dont that before and never had this happen. Is there any way ti possibly re-sync the remote to the system or reset the system entirely?

Personally, given BOTH don't work. I'd have someone OTHER than them take a look at your security system. Maybe I'm over-reacting... but better to er on the side of caution, ya know?

Yeah i know what you mean. I already spoke to their manager and gave em hell for it. When i get to work on next week one of the techs is going to try and reprogram the remotes and see of that works. Im not 100% sure but i guess they had the battery unplugged for a long while and maybe the memory bank for the security stuff blanked..if that can even happen..anyone know for sure? The immobilizer still works so that good hopefully its just the remote and the receiver need to be resynchronized. If that doesnt work i'll just get a viper system or something and make them pay for it.
