No word at all from Summit so i called our freinds at BeaveRun as a preventative measure. I don't feel optimistic about Summit but I do agree I hate for it to move again and was looking forwards to the new track!

I suspect we will do a partial refund if we move to the Beaver.
what about full refund if some of us are not going to beaver

I think july 3-4 would work better because:

A. it is a weekend not a weekday
B. most people are off on that weekend
C. we could do some fire works with a WHOLE bunch of R owners
D. travel time for the 23-24 would cut way into the work week

I agree with ITR41 about the 3/4 dates.....With the holiday falling on a sunday,July 5 will be the observed day for the holiday...Day off to get home

I think pros out weigh the cons simply because work>than expo

Actually, I've seen R owners at an Expo with Fireworks & that's not necessarily a good thing...

I'm hoping for end of July 'cause I already have off to go to Ohio to see my pops for the week :D

23/24th would be the best time for me if the expo has to be moved b/c it is much harder to get some days off at work around the july 4th weekend than later that month...thanks!

Traffic will be murder on the holiday weekend, more cops on duty, more tickets to be written,...Boy, they'll be foamin' at the mouth at the thought of stroking 30 or 40 tix in one stop!

I vote for the later dates. I work retail and we're open 7 days a week so it doesn't matter when I take off.

I was actually a little worried about the date change but it turns out the 23rd & 24th are Friday and Saturday of my work's shutdown week. So I'll have a whole week off to prepare for the Expo and it's closer :D I'm assuming if we'd already registered and payed for the event at Summit we don't need to do anything else right?

Coolness, thanks for the hard work. It's weird, when Expo moved the first time I was thinking it couldn't get any better cause it was in my state and now on this second move it did get better

My job takes me away without alot of notice. Just wondering, what happens if after I pay (student) then find out that I can't make it? Is there any sort of refund?

Thanks

Spots are only refundable after all spaces are filled and we can find someone to sell your spot to.
