Re: turbo manifold
don't waste your time with it. it looks good on the outside but the inside is just castiron . they are made in china and won't last......
Turbo 2.0L-type r... 12.91 AT 111 MPH ON STREET TIRES.... 2.14 60 FT. at 3000 ft alt.
Re: turbo manifold
They appear to be full tubular stainless, I don't think you can cast something to look that good. Have you heard of others having trouble with them? What manifold do you recommend as I am putting together my setup piece by piece to achieve what I want.....
Thanks, Matt

Re: turbo manifold
The manifold in the picture is definitely not cast.
It's tubular. The welds however look like they are mig welded, not tigged.
Mig welding is a cheap monkey way to weld and doesn't even come close to the strength of tig welding.
Usually if a manifold is tig-welded, they will heavily advertise it as such.
I'm just going by what it looks like to me, a closer look would be needed to be certain - a higher resolution picture close-up would help.
Usually you get what you pay for.

Re: turbo manifold
Jan, I asked him and he said it was "Hand Welded" I think I'm just gonna get a cast Rev Hard manifold, do you know where I can find a good deal on one?
Thanks, Matt

Re: turbo manifold
Nice. I guess he meant as opposed to robotic tig?
I don't know of anywhere you can get a cheap Revhard.
