sounds pretty good, what was your 60 foot?

it sounds to me if you get your power fc tuned right, a new exhaust, and a good 60 foot you'd be even deeper in the 13's.

good job. :D

Here is my slip:

R/T 0.819
60' 2.114
330 5.833
1/8 8.913
MPH 80.21
1000 11.585
1/4 13.838
MPH 101.81

Definitely possible to get deeper. Not sure I can beat a 2.114 though. Although a 2.0x on street tires would be sweet.

how did / do you launch it?

I rev to 4,000-4,200 and then slip the clutch till the tire grab and then dump and go.

You should launch higher. You are getting a good 60' but that isn't everything if you make the car have to pull through the power band. Your 1/8mi time and trap are low compared to your 1/4mi trap speed which suggests that there is something lacking. You can pull a 2.0 on street tires (I've done it on my SO-3's). With your trap speed you should be able to hit a 13.5-13.6 pretty easy.

I have fun the best results dumping my clutch at 2500 RPM.... 3000 sets me off for a tire burning til 8k rpm.. and if it doesnt stick, it doesnt get where it needs to get goin!

My 1/8 time is 8.9 I don';t think it is hurting too bad. I have never hit below a 2.1 60' and don't do anything but spin the tires above 4,500 rpms. I will try a time or 2 but I am pretty plreased with the way things are working.

60ft

I pulled a best of 2.095 60ft on factory original Bridgestones. At about 20 psi tire pressure

I dump the clutch @ 6500 and cut 2.1's on V700's

"Slip the Clutch"... OUCH!!! that's what that pedal on the right is for....

That's an awesome trap speed.

has the head ever been off?

Head has never been off. Just the valve cover for the intake cam (Stock 2001 R).
