fitment

Post by Jan Niemi »

You will have to notch one of the gussets on the block to clear the turbo, I had to pull the a/c line off that is in between the two fans, also the stock fans don't fit, I run FAL low profile fans, that's about it.

THe only way the stock fans might fit is iff you cut them down. Don't do that. THey won't be effective and they could easily melt. Get the Fal, thats what i have too. Also, the downpipe that i got did not reach all the way to the rest of the exhasut system. An easy fix to that was to cut a small peice off the stock headers downpipe and weld it to the Rev Hard Down pipe.

If you are buying a Revhard kit for fitment you are gonna be very much surprised.

I had to:
notch my block to make the turbo fit.
bend A/C lines
Cut away at the fan shroud
Modify the bumper for the intercooler fitment.

I'm gonna remedy this soon and finally purchase an aftermarket radiator and fan setup.

Yeah it's true with the block. We ended up shaven almost the whole "5" off of "B18c5". I have some good engine pics that show this...let me know if you would like me to post them.
