Radar Detectors opnions and recommendations?

Post by Rivalry »

This might be more of a off topic item than general discussion but how many of you guys use a radar detector with the ITR? and if so any opinions or recommendations on what works and what not? :)

Thanks!

Valentine One. Paid for itself in less than 2 weeks. Honestly, I don't know how I lived w/o one. If it's legal in your state to have a radar detector, I highly recommend it.

Same here, got mine 2 weeks ago. Saved me 3 tickets so far, 1 was a laser! The V1 picked up trace laser when he tagged the car ahead of me. Another was out in the country, where I've NEVER seen a cop, picked up his speedtrap 1/2 mile away and over a lil hill. Also picked up a state trooper coming up fast behind me. V1 FTW!!

A friend had a Passprot 8500, and I had my V1 while driving together. I picked up a signal about 5-10 seconds before he did, plus I had the advantage of knowing what direction the signal was comming from. Turns out the cop was about 2 miles ahead of us and driving towards us at the same time. When I picked up the signal he had to be 3+ miles out in flat terrain.

V1 owns J00!
