My ITR community here in SLU

Post by RBnemesis13B »

Hey, i'm new here as you can tell as this is my first post. Anyway, i'm from an island in the West Indies called St. Lucia. A tiny island, 27 miles long 14 miles wide, but we have tons of "performance" cars. Oddly enough, the Type R family of cars here is limited as compared to neighbouring islands whose Type R counts exceed ours by far. We only have two Civic Type R's (EK9) and three Integra Type R's (DC2), all five in Championship White. Two of the latter both have B20 blocks with the Type R heads and some other tiny mods i believe and are both stupidly fast as is. The third is decked out in a complete Mugen bodykit, and i mean COMPLETE. Under the hood though, not sure if there are any Mugen goods but it has the exhaust. One of the Civic Type R's has a B18C5 and Nitrous and will be going the route of forced induction via a turbocharger system. There was also an Integra SiR which had its B18C1 removed for a B18C5 and has a fibreglass rear hatch and wing, but was later sold and as a result the original SiR motor made its way back into the car. I shall keep this topic updated as best i can.

I joined this forum cause i LOVE the Integra Type R. The ultimate FF car in my opinion but yea that's me. So yea going to contribute what i can and learn as much as i can as i WILL own one someday & i already have plans drawn up for the modification and enjoyment of the car.

Kurn.

Here are some images from a race day earlier this year (February 22nd).

Welcome aboard! Also very cool to hear about the ITR community outside of Japan and North America.

I have heard of St. Lucia before also. A guy that goes to our (http://www.norcalstreet.net) monthly meets, is originally from there.
