Mine was broken into with the intention of stealing it last October(06)and although they were unsuccessful, I put it down to being a little too precise in the location box in my profile on the UK ITR site.
Got me wondering whether there are similarities in how car thieves here, and across the pond operate....Do you guys think there are gangs who trawl the forums looking for naive car owners who, like me,were stupid enough to divulge pretty much their exact cars whereabouts.I live fairly close to London(40 miles)but it's still a very small village in the countryside, and you just don't expect it to happen to you,but it does and it's big business, not for the cars themselves but for the parts/engines.(This seems more so in the US,considering the photo's I've seen on this site of stolen itr's,which, when eventually found are nothing more than a bare shell)Just thought I'd share with you the fact that, all over the world it happens and it just pi55es me off that nothing is sacred any more
