Car theft USA

Post by forks »

As a new member of this forum from the UK,I've been reading the various posts from members about pretty much anything of interest, but the one thing I've noticed is that you seem to have a huge problem with cars being stolen,in particular Japanese cars :x
Mine was broken into with the intention of stealing it last October(06)and although they were unsuccessful, I put it down to being a little too precise in the location box in my profile on the UK ITR site.
Got me wondering whether there are similarities in how car thieves here, and across the pond operate....Do you guys think there are gangs who trawl the forums looking for naive car owners who, like me,were stupid enough to divulge pretty much their exact cars whereabouts.I live fairly close to London(40 miles)but it's still a very small village in the countryside, and you just don't expect it to happen to you,but it does and it's big business, not for the cars themselves but for the parts/engines.(This seems more so in the US,considering the photo's I've seen on this site of stolen itr's,which, when eventually found are nothing more than a bare shell)Just thought I'd share with you the fact that, all over the world it happens and it just pi55es me off that nothing is sacred any more :x :x That is all :D

car thefts are as huge as you have read, sadly.
there are only a handful of people who know where I hide the R. and I do not leave it unattended when not in the cave. I live in Brooklyn, NY and have been problem free in regards to theft...
Some people live in the middle of nowhere and had their house broken into just for the R, crazy I know. But true.

what was your question again? :P

Wait... did I get scammed by Tartje?

What is this non commercial stuff you speak of? Higher wormwood content or something?

The shit we had at Expo (tartje brought some across the pond) was wicked stuff.... Burnt all to hell going down.. though I can't say I saw or felt any different from it.

What I meant was,you can get good stuff and not so good, originally the stuff was evil(made Van Gogh cut his ear off)but that recipe is now banned iirc.

Anyway, you can now buy it in Supermarkets here, which might have been what he brought over.
Either way,I bet a good time was had by all :) :) :)

I want to get my hands on the old school stuff!!!!

Now I've tried "mind altering" things before, and that was a long time ago... but I'm curious what this "wormwood" would actually do?

Someone out west want to make some Peyote Absenthe?
