For sale - 1997 Type "R" pristine, in Fresno, CA.

My one-owner 1997 "R" was purchased new from Ball Acura in San Diego, CA., and has lived most of its life in the central valley of California - absolutely no rust! It has always been garaged and has been driven almost exclusively by my wife - she allows me to take it to the car wash occasionally, and change the oil - that's about it. She now feels that she needs a larger car in order to take the grandchildren here and there, so we are reluctantly selling the "R". The car looks inside and outside as new, and drives just as well. The only options are A/C, fender splash guards and the bra - the rest is absolutely stock - the car has not been raced or mistreated. The car now shows 151,000 miles - does not burn nor leak oil - I have religiously changed oil (Mobil 1) and filter (Wix) every 5000 miles documented - the oil level is down less than a quart at oil changes. The timing belt and struts were changed out at 105 thou, and the clutch and hydraulics last summer. The CA title is clear. Price $ 16750.- . Feel free to ask questions. Thanks for your interest, Bob

Thanks for the interest - I'm not much of a computer geek, so it may take a while to get some pictures on the site - we're working on it.

The arm rest number is 0053. I don't have the original paperwork - there have been a number of house moves in the last ten years, and such things seem to get lost in the shuffle.

Well , actually my son lives in Modesto and we visit him quite frequently - so you may have seen us - like I said in my previous, I don't get to drive the car much, so it would be likely that you saw the wife driving. Know any of the gear heads around Modesto that might be interested??

I am working on further pics, including the engine bay. However, in the meantime, it looks like any other completely stock engine bay, perhaps not quite as clean as some - I try to keep a clean house, but am not an absolute fanatic that can't stand a speck of dust or a fly spot , unlike some!!!
