2001 PY Rebirth Thread! 56k no no.

Picked her up in Jan. Shes my 2nd R. Pretty stripped when i got her but the price was right and i had/ have most of the parts to put her back together with. A fresh paint job was first on the list. The car has had a lot of half assed work done on it before, its time for me to fix her up.

Ill keep the thread updated within the next week or so when its out/ during paint process.

She then made her way back to my house in June. Sat in the garage waiting for more parts to arrive/ wrong parts to arrive/ i ordered parts and kept changing my mind. I made a lot of progress in the past few weeks on it. I dont get to work much on her since i have such a busy schedule.

*Goal was to get it running by MM 10/3. Spent 1 overnighter(on a work week to get her done) Thanks to Ryan and Bryan and Terry who helped me out a lot. At this time most of the interior was finished, front end on, harnesses in, etc etc and got her running. No exhaust yet nor Teins. They go on next week. Anyhow. On with the pics

Thanks for all the comments! We've been trying to finish up the car. The weather has sucked here in saint louis though. Rain/ Cold weather FTL! I should have updates by the end of the week.

In the right light you can see the waves on mostly the left door, very little on the right. Its from those damn intrusion beams in the doors.


Bumpers, fenders and rear garnish were painted last night. Ill post up some update pics.

Since i was born. (aka 21 or so odd years. Depending if youd like to count the initail 9 months.)

Progress has been REALLY slow the past few weeks. Work blows and ive been on vacation twice. I have a week of vacation coming up in the next few weeks and i hope to get her done. Ill update as soon as i get a chance.

Updated first post. Shes been covered in the garage for a few weeks. Got a lot done on heR and shes back to life. I proudly put 60miles on heR last night!!!!!
