'work truck'

92, probably 320K+ miles on the chassis, 25k'ish on a rebuilt jasper 22RE. 4WD, 32's + 4.56's, posi rear, minus a couple leafs in the rear for airbags. Idle hunts a bit, + a few other small issues, nothing worth worrying about.

And if anyone knows anyone that needs a decent DD:

Tractor motor + 6-7psi = better tractor motor. :p

Plans are to convert to megasquirt (ditch the AFM) + CT26 or a TD04. Might eventually stick an intercooler in there sometime. Picking up spare 22RE longblock next week.... at this rate, i need another damn engine stand and i need a fucking contractor to finish some house projects.

spare block = why intercool it? less lag = titts up.
I am sure it will hold 7-8 pounds in stock form with correct management. ;)

Had a ebay cylinder head and turbo intake manifold delivered this week. I need to pull the rotating assembly out of the spare block and order new pistons..... as soon as i free up an engine stand. I have 2 potential turbos lined up, got Megasquirt a couple weeks back..... and was ready to build a PNP adapter harness with a spare OEM ECU that i had from ebay.... UNTIL.... i apparently made the piss poor assumption that my 5-speed 4x4 truck would actually have a 5-speed 4x4 ECU in it.... apparently it was a fucking automatic in a prior life... so, i need a different spare OEM ECU to pull the connector off of.... havn't found one yet. I have a new GM IAT sensor/pigtail/ 1/2 -3/8 NPT adapter to install in intake manifold. Lots of pieces, just havn't been able to sit down at the kitchen table and start putting the puzzle together yet.

Crank trigger mount is finished for the twin cam carb motor though... just need to replace rod bolts and then i'll have a engine stand free'd up.

here's the $600 manifold i'd like to pick up eventually...
