Indeed...although it could have some more aggressive expectations for cold weather also- Open loop/closed loop warm up etc.

Re: USDM vs. CDM TypeR info!

my 97 key and my buddies 00 key are about the same size. and the immobilizer chip is actually really small. key really doesnt need to be that big. i can take a pic of a 03+ accord one if you want. they are about the size of a woodroof key on your crank pulley. US and Canadian cars have different pa...

Wish I could say this one had the stock knob but it was an aluminum R knockoff so no luck there...

I was expecting the immobilizer-ed key to be bigger- this one looked just like our 98 key. Anyone have a pic or first hand experience with that one?

All the yr's steering ratio seem the same to me, which is "fast"...

From our very own ITRC's FAQ:

2000:
More Responsive Steering Rack, Ratio Changed to 15.7:1 from the 97/98 16.1:1

USDM vs. CDM TypeR info!

Ok I've searched and searched and searched- here on ITRCA and Honda-Tech as well (beyond standard Google etc) I'm looking for an accurate and exhaustive list of every last difference between the USDM and CDM North American market Integra TypeR's. I know the big ones: CDM had Championship White avail...

Mine is still for sale... Hey- A bit more modified than I'm looking for but I'll definitely keep you in mind. I've searched and searched but can't find good solid info on the Canadian models- there is a 2000 very local for me. I know about the daytime running lights and KM cluster but need some OEM...

Bump for trade offers, plenty of rsx's and others but no solid R's yet. Had one PY on Honda-tech with a questionable history.. willing to add cash for the right one.

The last time I heard a "pop" I also thought sway bar/endlink, and it ended up being a loose ball joint.

The correct term there would be "trade" haha

I'm 100% ready, just need to get that wrx cash in hand or find someone looking to trade. I thought there would be more trade interest but I'm in the process of marketing my wrx more now.

I'm not far from Mt. Pleasant so I have to ask if anyone in here knows-

is the 2000+ faster steering rack a straight swap into the 97/98? Any other parts needed? How about A/C?

I'm in love with Champ. White, but need the A/C and faster ratio, advice?
