ITR for sure. WRX is quick, has turbo so extra power will be easier to get out of it. Mates got a WRX and i got the ITR WRX good low down torque but for a real enthusiasts driving experience, nothing compares the high revving NA feel and handling only the ITR can give. The ITR will out handle the WR...

i hate CW owners stating - CW the only true ITR colour - PFFT

black just looks killer, like a pissed off Darth Vader.

CW for second choice.

Red for third choice.

Finally Yellow.

But again, its what you like as you'll be driving it.

I was 24, and unlike most people, i had to buy it myself - brand new 01DC2 ITR. working hard for it makes me appreciate it so much more. My parents were right after all.

Re: heel and toe - is OEM pedal setup any good.

do you have to brake hard to beable to get enough flex on the throttle to make an effective H&T??

Just curious, what size shoes do you have.....perhaps if their smaller than mine, maybe you have more room for movement which makes it easier..i dunno!

Re: Any one running with 100 octane?

good points. 11:1:1 is high imo for a stock production motor. regardless higher octane is cleaner and imo a better fuel. if you guys had higher octane fuels readily available at a reasonable price i'm sure you all would be using it. Regardless, fuel is a BIG reason you dont get JDM. Quote [I guess t...

Re: Any one running with 100 octane?

ITR have a high compression, 10:6:1 US / 11:1:1 AUS ive only ever since brand new (now 20,000 KM) used Octane 98. If there was a hundred, i'd use it. With the right engine, & i KNOW the ITR B18C is a worthy contender. Why do you think the JDM are that little more powerful than ours. They are abl...

Re: exhaust

your mate might be thinking of mandrelbends??? if its a good seal it shouldnt really matter. Its also alot easier to ever change / further upgrade your exhaust. Remember a car evolves and what you may have today, may not be sufficient for tomorrow. Who cares about looks. Its an exhaust and whats mor...

heel and toe - is OEM pedal setup any good.

g'day fellow ITR owners, i have 01 DC2 ITR. while i love rev matching theres one problem, on the braking down shift i cant seem to get the heel and toe technique down. I have a size 13 shoe, so small feet isnt a problem. Ive noticed that the gas pedal isnt exactly at the same height as the brake in ...

19's HAHAHAHA

try some nice forged lightweight 16 x 7 or 16 x 8.

thats what an ITR is about. max size i would go for are 17's, but thats only if i had to.

do you want to be a ricer or a racer. the choice is yours.

JDM DC5 ITR also has a much better power plant than the RSX or Aussie DC5 ITR. The aussie DC5 ITR has the same motor as the RSX in the US does. In OZ we work with KW and I know our DC5 ITR gets 147KW while JDM DC5 ITR gets 162 KW. so cosmetics and brakes are not the only difference. The RSX and Auss...

sweet, nice ride and vid. i read you s2000 post and i reckon the attitude you described sux arse. all they did was pay more for their car but in my eyes the ITR is the best value for money NA 4 money can buy. More practicle than an S2000 and Lotus, not bad but not HONDA. they just have the light wei...
